Slow or Unstable Connection

If you experience slow or intermittent connectivity, keep in mind that bandwidth is shared among all devices connected to your modem. Try these basic troubleshooting steps:

  • -Disconnect and reconnect the fiber patch cord to the modem.
  • -Power off the modem for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.

Note: Wi-Fi signal strength decreases with distance from the modem, and physical obstructions can also weaken the connection. For optimal performance, place your device in an open area free of obstructions and reduce the number of devices connected simultaneously.

To achieve a stronger Wi-Fi connection, we recommend:

  • Disconnect all other devices, including any third-party routers.
  • Connect a laptop or computer directly to the modem using a LAN cable to compare performance.
  • Run speed test at Speedtest
